Terms of Use
Last updated May 5, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Prelto, including the Prelto Mac application, related cloud services, websites, and connected workflows. By using Prelto, you agree to these terms.
1. Service
Prelto helps users capture speech, transcribe or transform text, and create structured legal work artifacts such as polished prose, time entries, and matter notes. Some features may run locally on your device. Other features may use Prelto cloud services or third-party service providers.
2. Accounts and Access
You may need an account to use cloud features, managed AI features, sync, billing, or connected integrations. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Professional Responsibility
Prelto is a drafting and workflow tool. It does not provide legal advice, does not replace professional judgment, and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated text. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before relying on them or submitting them to another system.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the audio, transcripts, notes, prompts, documents, and other content you submit to Prelto. You grant Prelto the limited rights needed to process that content, provide the service, secure the service, and support your requested workflows.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Prelto, including by attempting to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, reverse engineer restricted components, violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, or submit content you do not have the right to process.
6. Integrations
If you connect Prelto to third-party services such as practice management tools, you authorize Prelto to access those services only as needed to provide the connected workflow you request. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms.
7. Billing
Paid features may be billed through Prelto, Stripe, the App Store, or another billing provider. Subscription terms, pricing, trial access, and renewal behavior will be presented at checkout or in the applicable account flow.
8. Changes and Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features over time. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of Prelto after an update means you accept the updated terms.
9. Disclaimer
Prelto is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prelto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.
